[fional]
this is fiona lawson and she's a twenty-five year old musician/actress (she just signed on to star in the rocky horror picture show as janet.) she has the voice and lyrics of carrie underwood, however, i changed the years and am saying that carnival ride came out this year. so far she's debuted three singles: flat on the floor, so small, and last name but has a couple more that are going to be released! she is originally from a small town in oklahoma and is the daughter of a high school football coach and grew up with little. she's sort of ashamed of her small-town background and hasn't been home in about a year but claims it's because of her busy schedule. when she first started out in early 2007 she was a really down-to-earth girl who was her funny, lively self. she would constantly make trips home to see her parents and see her old friends but a lot of people, even fans, have noticed that she's changed a lot. she isn't as demure or quiet as she once was and is more willing to speak up for herself and she's much more into the hollywood scene than she used to be. she's also less down-to-earth and has been known for being a little snooty and bitchy at times and there's been reports of difficult behavior recently. she is the best friend of [info]bridgett and dated [info]behrman for two years before calling it off - they share a dog and see one another quite often and it's still pretty painful for her.

as for lines i could other best friends, people she's touring with/toured with/opened for, a few people to be in her music videos, friends, enemies, etc. i am up for brainstorming!

Leilani's voice is getting a minor overhaul to the credits of Leona Lewis as I felt they messed better with Lea Michele's voice. She is pretty much the exact same character before the voice change though... soon her credits will reflect this change.

Hey, I'm bringing this Willa Holland to the game as an actor/model and dabbles in music. She's from the UK and is mostly based in London though she does travel to NYC and LA often enough. Her parents have been in the film industry for years (her mother is a costume designer, and her father is a composer) and so she's been around sets all her life. She starred in a film as a child, then disappeared for a while only to end up in modeling, but now she's back to acting. A photographer commented she talked too much at a photoshoot, and rightly so! She is quite the talker. She's friendly as well, but probably isn't everyone's cup of tea. So far the only credits I've decided on are Effy on Skins, Pansy from Harry Potter, and Kelly from St. Trinian's.

So I would love anything. People she might have met on set, co-stars, other models, etc. I'd love to brain storm, but if anyone has any lines they need filled, let me know.

Hello, rogerebert! This is Barbra Draken, but if you're close to her you can just call her Baby (hello Dirty Dancing) or Babs. She's 27 and she's going to have the comedienne claim of Chelsea Handler. She's also going to have a show on E! like Chelsea lately, I just haven't decided on what to call it. Aside from comedy, she acts a little, it's how she started out and her credits are HERE. She's a very girly girl, likes to dress up and have fun, is extremely social and loves to just talk. I'd love to have some friends for her, and people she's interviewed in the past when she was on TRL (both between 2000-2002 and 2004-2007) and people to interview in the future.

[thtcher]
i'm not sure if i'm going to keep him an actor or switch off to a musician, but his personality will stay the same regardless so time to do one of these! this is thatcher ducote, whose creole roots keep him coming back to new orleans to visit family between gigs/filming. he lives in l.a. with a roommate or two, depending on what i end up getting sl wise will determine if those are his brothers or not. he's the baby of the family so he's used to getting pampered by his family. thankfully, it never went to his head. possibly because he spent most of his life as the geeky artsy kid everyone either picked on or ignored. it humbled him. currently, he's reaching out career wise (either taking bigger roles or writing more mature music) to try and shake the could-have-been-disney image he had. he's down to earth, doesn't do much to garnish paparazzi attention, and tends to keep his personal life pretty close to the chest. the biggest thing he's keeping to himself is the fact that he's gay, but since he's never had a relationship with a guy, it's not that hard to hide. he needs pretty much anything at this point. co-stars, friends, people who want to get him out of the house, people who make him feel like he's back in high school, family, whatever. at this point he's malleable enough that i can work with anything!

[coltan]
hello, everyone! i'm bringing in coltan correale with paul walker as the played-by. he came from an upperclass family that raised him to follow their footsteps exactly which meant going to harvard law school, but coltan decided he wanted to be an actor and not even go to college. his mom refused to hear it, but his dad told him that if he's going to act, then to leave because he won't allow it under his roof. coltan didn't exactly have a plan, but he got to california and worked several jobs trying to pay his rent. when he had the time, he went to several auditions but was rejected by just about all of them except for some commercials here and there. after being a struggling actor for about six years, he finally got his big break when he landed the role of smith on "sex and the city". the casting directors of the show pretty much made it clear he only got the role because of his looks, but got him some acting coaches. he improved as an actor while on the show, and got lucky when it came to landing roles after the show. he landed the role of noah calhoun in 'the notebook' which gave him a pretty big fan-base of teenaged girls, and a few movies later, he became one of the biggest heartthrobs in the industry. his relationship with his family is kind of iffy. he'll send them gifts on holidays and birthdays, but he tries to get out of visiting them. he's sort of bitter about them not acknowledging him when he was a struggling actor, but now that he's making it big, they're real proud of him. at the same time, he tries to maintain a civil relationship with them just because they're family.

sorry that was so long. so lines! basically, his credits are in the journal so if they're co-stars let me know! he could use pretty much anything. friends, best friends, anything!

Hello, [info]rogerebert! I'm working on an Emma Stone-PB'd character to bring into the game. Her name is Haley Bishop, and while she's mostly based out of London, she is hard at work trying to get her career to take off in the States. I've got a mock up of possible credits in her journal. I'm open to filling any lines you may have, as well as brain storming some new ones. Super serious girl with a very dry sense of humour. Who doesn't like a snobby British girl?

[miziolek]
While I finish him up, this is Evan Miziolek, played by Hunter Parrish. He's a 22 year old from London, England. He has a majority of British credits, but was in "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" and is coming up as Tyler in "Valentine's Day". His credits can be found here. He also has the musical credits (for his upcoming music career) of A Rocket to the Moon.

Evan is from a semi-famous family. His dad is an actor and his mom is an academy award winning costume designer. He's known to be cast in things along with his close friend [info]sidneyfinch, so this upcoming movie is generating some excitement from their respective fanbases for yet another collaboration.

I don't know what else to add. He's a pretty good kid and lives in London. I'd love some British friends, maybe someone to play Uther Pendragon (his dad) in Merlin! Some friends for when he goes overseas, actors he's worked with, maybe some of the old actors know his dad? Cousins ... I'll take damn near anything, so throw stuff at me!

Me again! I'm following [info]heiblum's lead and posting in here again, now I've got more details about Manny here. She's got more credits now (admittedly not a huge amount of new English ones, but I think she does have one or two new co-stars), and they're viewable here, and her full directory is here.

So if anyone has any more ideas, thoughts, comments or questions, let me know; if your character knows Garret Fox or Hector MacLaren, they'll probably know Manny since she's been friends with both for years and fucking years. So that might open up some more avenues, depending!

hello all! i'm very late at doing this but this is emma bensen, twenty-two year old younger sister to [info]nagrom! she's a singer (voice of vanessa hudgens) and an actress, but she considers herself more of the latter. she started off doing movies when she was only eleven and has been in the industry ever since, though her presence on the screen has been a little spotty. as the youngest of eight, emma possesses a lot of the characteristics that are stereotypical for the baby of the family. she is generally very charming and playful and means well 100% of the time, even if her ideas cause natural disaster-like repercussions. she's outgoing and originally persistent in everything she does, but tends to get bored easily and sometimes lacks the self-discipline to carry on when boredom strikes. she's a romantic down to her core. not in the hopeless romantic sense but more one that believes in romanticism as a philosophy. she's way too excitable about... well, everything, but she instantly falls in love with nature, love poetry and old architecture. and, of course, tends to get carried away with ideas very easily. right now, she's trying her damndest to break out of the child star mold hollywood as put her in, but in the long run she's a little bit more nervous about it than she lets on and tends to hinder herself. emma acts as if she doesn't mind being known as the little girl from the parent trap and plays up the carefree demeanor, but she really just wants someone to put faith in her to play a more serious role. she's also best friends with [info]vivyan and [info]bridgett.

her credits are here and she could use lines of all different shapes and sizes! i don't have anything too specific in mind but she could always use more friends, an ex and maybe a cousin? i know that's a very limited list but brainstorming is my favorite thing and i'm all for thinking up something amazing!

Wow, today is obviously storyline pimp day! I know I’ve already made one post for this guy, but his app is in now so I figured I’d try to drum up a little more support. This is Isaac Randall, brother to [info]lorienr and [info]daiseymae. He is also an actor extraordinaire who got his start in Trainspotting and Fight Club. You can see his credits here (his bio is there as well!), but for the most part, he’s stuck to more serious films that aren’t always big blockbuster types, but tend to get recognized anyway. He wants to get into directing eventually like big sis, but has no real patience for anyone that doesn't do things exactly his way...so until he finds a group of actors he agrees with professionally, that probably won't happen. Personality wise, he can be difficult. When he’s around really good friends and family, he tends to be pretty fun and goofy. Around everyone else? Not so much. He can be quiet to the point of seeming like an ass if he doesn’t know you, and is extremely protective of his family. That said, he’s more likely to be kind in a sort of anti-Hollywood situation just because he’s a lot more at ease. He also has a soft spot for children and does some behind-the-scenes work at home and in South Africa with some human rights foundations (though he rarely speaks about it in the press or anything). He still needs drinking buddies, girls he’s fawned over (he’s really not much of a lady’s man…not confident enough!), possibly an ex-wife?

[heiblum]
Okay I'm back with more useful things. Lars Heiblum, aged fifty four, originally from Amsterdam, now living between London and wherever filming takes him. He was a childstar on a Swedish television series in the 70s but took a twenty year break from the business to go to school (he's a language dude, speaks English, Dutch, French, German, and a little bit of Swedish). He dated [info]hollande for a while back in the Pulp Fiction days but they broke up amicably and she put him in the friend-zone, which is where he remains to this day, unhappily. He's sort of a dog for her, it's pathetic. His bio is short and sweet and right here and his credits are here again if anyone missed them the first time.

As a person, he is primarily quiet, a much better listener than speaker, gets along fine with the boys but is an excellent platonic pal for the ladies. He's aware his career has been hella short and doesn't expect to work much after he gets into his upper 50s so he's enjoying the time he has left. Essentially he's very complacent, doesn't complain a lot, shoulders whatever responsibilities life throws at him, very rarely gets angry, never gets violent. He's courteous to paparazzi but on the other hand he's usually just walking around being normal and boring so they don't hound him. He has no kids but he likes playing dad to [info]hollande's kid, so he'd up for older sibling/father-type relationships with any whippersnappers who need a guiding light. He's kind of serious most of the time if he doesn't know you, and can be a little weird about some things, but is generally a pleasant guy to be around and to work with. He's the designated driver, lend you his jacket, wait with you until a cab comes kind of guy. The type who'll give you his last two Advil and pay for your bottle of water. Because those things are important.

[behrman]
okay, this is gilligan behrman and he is all written up and applied, but i would love lines and there is still room to tweak his bio and credits as necessary. his abbreviated lifestory is that he is a thirty-one year old snl cast member and older half-brother to [info]sofiah. he was born to a south african mother and an american father, and i am also in search of his younger half-brother. he grew up in australia and spent most of his time surfing and fishing before beginning to work in the travel industry in adventure tourism. he was "discovered" then and hosted globe trekkers before moving to the states and getting cast in freaks & geeks and undeclared. after both shows were ultimately cancelled, he returned to adelaide for a few years. back in the states a handful of years later, he joined a new york city improv group and went on to write for snl before also becoming a cast member. he now writes for it's always sunny in philadelphia and has had roles in superbad, pineapple express, juno, and the brothers solomon. he's a huge neil young, bob dylan, and grateful dead devotee with very little interest in the trappings of fame and the industry. all in all, he's a silly dude with a heart of gold, and i would love lines with everyone. specifically, i would like to find a longterm, and until recently lowkey relationship, he's been in though that is not necessary as he's an otherwise blank slate.

From the Official Blog of Simon St James [22 Dec 2009|06:27pm]

I'm glad to be home for Christmas. Even if it's a bit of a mad house here, I'm glad. I was a bit worried I'd be stranded in New York for Christmas! Not that I have anything against New York. I've just missed my family, and my apartment there doesn't really feel like home yet. I think it's just the lack of time spent there, though I did take the time to decorate it. And I made sure the oven and stove were off when I left, so I won't be worrying about that while I'm here in England! Though, honestly, I think I'm proposing the Bahamas--or anywhere else where it's nice and warm--next year for Christmas. Disney World maybe?

One of the St James's Christmas traditions include the kids (though none of us actually kids anymore) getting together on Christmas Eve and putting on a panto for the guests and any family who comes over. It's also tradition to fight over what's done, and this year it's between Cinderella and The Princess and the Pea. Somehow I'm stuck with the deciding vote, and I cannot decide which I want to do because I wanted to do Robin Hood. I have until tomorrow to decide, or Mum's picking, and she loves Cinderella.

Others include Christmas dinner for the family and anyone who happens to be staying staying at the hotel, present exchanging in the evening, drunken Christmas caroling, and some kind of argument. The way Will's been eying me, I suspect it'll be between him and me, but I have my fingers crossed it'll be Aunt Millie and Mum because, well, let's just say Aunt Millie needs a good telling off every now and again.

I'm curious, what are some of your holiday traditions?

[seryosa]
Ho'kay. Since there's been a shit ton of new people in the game, and since I was lazy and had life happen like crazy and because today seems like the "STORYLINE FOR NEW FOLK" day, I'm tossing my hat into this ring and going to reintroduce and introduce for the first time everyone to Rafael Alvarez Garcia Seryosa, played by Javier Bardem and with the credits of Chingon and Robert Rodriguez. 44-years-old and most famous for his adaptation of the Sin City comics into the movie of the same name and for being something of a one man film crew. He shoots, edits, scores, writes, directs and does FX work on almost everything he's done. This all harks back to how he got his start, which is where he had to do everything himself as a cost cutting measure. Now he does it, but with more money and big name stars. Plus, gives him total control over what he puts out. But he's not at all a dictator. He's very laid back and in contrast to his violent and over the top films, he's somewhat soft spoken and very mild-mannered.

His credits can be found here, and his bio and first entry are just finishing up as we speak. A little big of background, comes from a Spanish background and speaks the language fluently, used to make Super 8 films with his two brothers and two sisters as his actors and he got a late start as filmmaker when he quit school and went to work to help care for his dying grandmother and soon after his dying mother. He's also a musician and has a Latino rock back called Colibri. He's an excellent cook and often caters his own films and always has something tasty for his crew and casts when it comes time to sit down and watch dallies.

I've briefly talked to some of you in regards to SL, and since he's going to be apped soon (for reals this time...), I'd love to chat about some other SLs. Fellow director buddies, people whom he frequently casts, maybe an ex flame, bromance. Anything!

[sayre]

Alright, let's get down to business (to defeat the huns?). No, but really. This is Jackson Sayre, please call him Jax, he was born to hollywood powerhouses, a network exec and premier pr agent respectively, so he was raised in the behind the scenes business of the hollywood machine. It never really went to his head though. In fact, instead going the party route it turned out that he's a massive nerd. He's basically, a pseudo-joss whedon who's made his name off the supernatural and the sci-fi. He's been a writer on a bunch of things, co-creator of Firefly and full creator of Dollhouse, which his baby even if it's cancelled. He's pretty young to have had two, admittedly failed, series of his own so a lot of people think there have been some blatant displays of nepotism in his career. But, he doesn't care and doesn't really know if that's true. If anything he blames [info]devash for having faith of him. He directed some supernatural episodes too. See? Total nerd. He's basically kind of a massive overgrown child. He's goofy and he makes a lot of jokes, but they're only good about 50 percent of the time the other half they're so bad they're funny. He goes stir crazy if he's in the writers room too long and has to go play with his dogs or run around or something. He's the kind of super laid back guy who's always down for a beer except he'll probably take with an episode of Battlestar Galactica instead of football. He talks a lot like his characters, very pop culture referential and sometimes snarky. YAR THAT'S IT. He hangs around and quotes Eddie Izzard with [info]jameso, and is [info]devash's protege in the world of all things television related. He's harbored a crush on [info]sofi for years but they're both too damn professional to do anything about it.

So come on guys, lets have some lines. Friends, romans, country men, ears? See what I meant about the bad jokes. But really, I'm down for anything. I'm also looking for something suitable nerdy for him to have worked on for a bit in between Serenity and Dollhouse and something for him to be working on after dollhouse wraps up.

Hi, all. This here is Manon 'Manny' Hollande, PBed by the lovely Kate Winslet; She's a French-born American actress, and besides a selection of credits for her, that's really all I've got so far, so this is where you all come in. I have some idea of her personality; she's quite a reclusive, if not friendly lady, known in Hollywood for her love of independent and fringe cinema. The weirder, the less likely to be a box office success the better; her exceptions to this are Titanic (the movie that launched her into the public eye), the Lord of the Rings trilogy (a labour of love, as she adores the books), and Troy (who could turn down portraying the Face That Launched A Thousand Ships?). She currently has a regular role on the Fox TV show Lie to Me as Gillian Foster.

Her credits are here, and are currently incomplete; she's very well-known within French cinema, and she regularly likes to return to her roots; as a result, she's kind of a media darling in France (but all that really means is they're nicer to her more often than other people). So I'm looking for all sorts; co-stars (she'd probably make a point to make friends on-set, as she doesn't have much of a chance elsewhere), friends she has managed to make elsewhere, perhaps some exes? She's not particularly the type to make enemies but hit me with what you've got - suggestions are love.

I have almost nothing for this guy other than credits figured out, so I figured I'd throw them out here and see what I caught. In short, he is Dutch in origin, got his start in Reservoir Dogs as Mr. White, Pulp Fiction as Vincent Vega, a quick stint at Disney as Scar, and then went on to star in Lord of the Rings as (predictably) Aragorn. He's had a pretty narrow career with lots of time off -- after LOTR he worked on two seasons of Rome with [info]maclar, [info]uentin, and [info]portnovarro and then jumped right into the Academy Award pool via Brokeback Mountain, in which he played Ennis Del Mar. One Aronofsky movie later, he starred in There Will Be Blood, which earned him his first Oscar. This year he played Hans Landa in [info]garretfoxiii's Inglourious Basterds and Team Leader in The Hurt Locker. Next year he'll be playing Hades in Clash of the Titans and James Reston Jr in Frost/Nixon.

Demeanor-wise, he's pretty quiet, humbled by the extent of his career, always hoping to learn more, and he takes a great interest in each of his roles. I haven't figured out where he lives yet, but I'd still like old friends, new friends, exes, etc. And I can do my best to fill whatever empty lines you have lying around. Note: He is fifty four years old which makes him like, the oldest person in roleplay ever. Just thought I'd throw that out there so you can snub me for lines based on the ones on his face ;_; just kidding.

Hello again! I've applied this gent, Porter Landon (his PB is the amazing and handsome Charlie Hunnam) to join the community. Now that I've developed a bit more backstory, I'm reaching out again for some additional lines. This Irish-born heartbreaker is a bit of a child actor/teen heart throb revival, most known for the role of Dawson Leery on Dawson's Creek with best friend, [info]lastings. When he wanted out of his contract, he auditioned for a role in one of [info]maclar's series and took off in a few more serious roles.

So aside from those connections, he's looking for castmates, friends and fans. He loves music (doesn't actively have a music career other than singing or humming a song in one of his movies), but he's a big fan. Musician friends would be absolutely necessary. Writers, directors and exes would be fantastic as well.

Please take a look at the bio and credits and let me know what works! If you think he'd be a great fit for a role with your kid or if you're interested in pursuing something I haven't listed, let me know!

Thanks for the time, guys.

So I'm procrastinating and not writing a bio or directory or interview, so why not do a storyline post? This is James Somervaille – he's been around the rp-block a little, if he seems familiar – and he's forty-two years old and an actor. His credits are here, and he's basically made a twenty-something year career out of playing a magnificent bastard. Or, well, mostly. He started out doing what he privately considers shitty teen movies, but always claims it was a positive experience, and really hit his stride and maybe got a little type-cast playing men of dubious character with some exception here and there and he tends to embody that sort of stereotype that the nicest people tend to get cast as villains. In all honesty, James is a very exuberant, outgoing person – he was born into a privileged lifestyle, although he doesn't brag about it, and he basically acts for the joy of acting – not for the money, or the accolades, which is why he's a good actor who mostly sates the inner nerd and/or child. But since he really enjoys the projects he picks and chooses, he tends to show up on set in a really good mood and tries to get everyone else pumped up and excited, no matter the hours or conditions. For the first fourteen-ish years of his career, James was kind of a notorious womanizer, although he eventually settled down with Angela [info]devash, with whom he has a six year old daughter and a three year old son (as well as a thirteen year old son from another woman); while he's generally kind of an even-tempered dude who personally feels like he has nothing to hide, he's intensely private and protective of Angela and his kids, and has had a couple of feuds with the paparazzi over invading that privacy. That's basically him in a ramble, and I need allllll sorts of lines. So hit me with your bestest shot.

hey there, so while gregg is pending i figured i should come here for some lines. he's an musician and an actor, but moreso the latter. he currently stars as dan in gossip girl, and was johnny harper on the o.c. he's really close with his costars [info]zignani and [info]brianne, and i'd love to work something out with other cast mates. he's got the musical claim of eric hutchinson, and he'll be releasing his first big label album in 2010.

gregg is pretty dim-witted, and had almost no resistance to peer pressure. he used to be really small as a kid and was picked on a lot, so he pretty much did anything to be popular in high school, which designated him as the guy who recreated the stunts on jackass to make a crowd happy - which he still frequently does, so he's usually hiding bruises and welts somewhere on his body. he doesn't make very good decisions, but he likes to think that he's a beacon of wisdom, and hands out bad advice to anyone who will listen - but he is smart enough not to listen to it himself. occasionally, he will say something smart and surprise anyone listening, but he will rarely follow through on his good ideas. he's sweet, and he's incredibly friendly, which may be his only redeeming qualities. i think of him as someone who is easy to like, but hard to be friends with.

he dated [info]meave for about a year and broke up in march, and he's been dating [info]vivyan since july. i haven't got anything specific in mind for lines, but i would love to see some family members (cousins, future step-siblings?), and more friends. i would be willing to fill lines and brainstorm some ideas. i'm really looking forward to the game!
